What is Intense Pulsed Light?

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), also known as a photofacial or photorejuvenation, gives you younger, healthier skin by stimulating new collagen growth. Collagen is a naturally-occurring substance that gives your skin volume and elasticity. By stimulating collagen growth, IPL effectively treats your fine lines and wrinkles.

Who is the best candidate for Intense Pulsed Light?

Age and sun damage can leave many different marks on the face and neck, including:

  • Freckles
  • Visible blood vessels
  • Dark spots
  • Irregular pigmentation
  • Redness

IPL Photorejuvenation addresses all of these cosmetic concerns, leaving you looking and feeling younger and more beautiful.

What is the cost of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)?

Because every patient is different, our office finds it best to provide a quote only after a consultation with one of our board-certified dermatologists. During this time, the two of you will discuss your cosmetic goals and reach full agreement regarding the necessary treatment. How does Broad Band Light work?

Broad Band Light harnesses the power of pulsed light to combat unwanted skin conditions. The device gently heats the upper layers of skin, which stimulates your body’s natural collagen production. When more collagen is produced, the skin benefits in a significant reduction in wrinkles and fine lines, along with a more even complexion.

Additionally, the photo-thermal energy directly addresses unwanted blood vessels that cause redness, along with unwanted melanin or hyperpigmentation. Finally, it has been proven that Broad Band Light treatments delay the aging process. Over time, your skin will look more refreshed, youthful, and rejuvenated.
