What are anti-aging treatments?

Age and the sun can destroy the vital components of your skin that keep you looking youthful and fresh. Collagen is one of the most important parts of your skin because it gives your skin more resilience against environmental factors. As you age, your body produces less collagen and your skin begins to sag, wrinkle and droop. Anti-aging treatments use various mechanisms to stimulate new skin and collagen development.

How do anti-aging treatments work?

At Skin Laser & Surgery Specialists, we offer a unique, comprehensive approach to anti-aging. A combination of laser treatments, use of your own growth factors (PRP) and low-level light therapy will produce new collagen and give your skin a more youthful, healthy glow.

Our dermatologists are recognized leaders in the field of low-level light anti-aging, having done the studies over a decade ago that have led to the development of many new products in this area.

  • Teledermatology appointments remain available for patients who prefer to be seen virtually.
