Cellulaze in New York and New Jersey
Skin Laser & Surgery Specialists of New York and New Jersey offer Cellulaze® to the residents of New York and New Jersey.
What Is Cellulaze®?
Did you know that traditional liposuction and even laser-assisted liposuction treatments cannot help you with cellulite? While cellulite is caused by fatty deposits, the reason that liposuction cannot remove cellulite is that the fat is actually protruding through the connective tissue, causing the telltale signs of cellulite. Cellulaze® targets the connective tissue to help eliminate the unattractive cellulite that keeps you from looking and feeling your best.
How Does Cellulaze® Work?
The connective tissue of young skin is flexible, but age, hormonal changes and other factors cause the tissue to become rigid. As the connective tissue hardens, fat escapes through small openings and presses against your skin, creating those tiny lumps. Cellulaze® treats the bands of connective tissue.
What Can Be Treated With Cellulaze®?
Cellulaze® can be used on any part of your body where you have cellulite. The most common treatment areas, though, are the thighs, buttocks and abdomen.
How Is The Cellulaze® Procedure Performed?
For your comfort, topical or local anesthesia is administered before you procedure. Small incisions are made in the treatment area. A small Cellulaze® laser fiber is inserted into the incision, and laser energy is applied to the tissue. The laser energy liquefies the fat which is then removed through the incisions. Most Cellulaze® treatments take one to two hours, depending on the extent of correction.
Is The Procedure Painful?
Topical or local anesthesia is used to help you remain comfortable during the procedure. After your treatment, you may experience mild swelling and tenderness around the treatment area. You should rest for one to two days and avoid strenuous activities for up to two weeks.
When Will I See Results?
You see immediate results after your Cellulaze® treatment, with continued improvement over the next three to 12 months.
How Long Do The Results Last?
Cellulaze® permanently removes the fat that causes your cellulite. With proper diet and exercise, you can maintain your beautiful new curves for many years.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
Most patients only need one Cellulaze® treatment, but follow-up treatments may be required if you develop new cellulite.
Can Cellulaze® Be Combined With Other Treatments?
Cellulaze® is safe enough to be combined with other treatments, including traditional and laser-assisted liposuction.
What is the Cost of Cellulaze® in New York and New Jersey?
The price of Cellulaze® varies for each person depending on the extent of treatment necessary.
