Laser resurfacing lasers do NOT help varicose veins

Question:
How many laser skin-resurfacing treatments are required to see improvement of varicose veins? Laser resurfacing lasers do NOT help varicose veins
Answer:
Varicose veins on the face are treated with totally different lasers. Although the most commonly used lasers for varicose lasers on the face are known as pulsed dye lasers, this is not the approach we use. The pulsed dye laser, the laser of choice when we treat children’s port-wine stains, may lead to a temporary black and blue mark after treatment. Instead, we use both the KTP laser and Nd:YAG laser for such facial veins. There is no black and blue mark and nobody will know that you have just been treated! Smaller varicose veins on the legs are treated with injections and lasers
