How Does Ultherapy work?
The doctor or nurse places the Ulthera applicator to your face. This applicator allows them to actually see the tissue and skin beneath. You and your doctor will be able to see an image of the tissue below the surface as you do on other sonograms. Using the same hand piece, heat energy is delivered below the skin's surface without harm. At first, your skin will contract right away. Over time, the body's response stimulates collagen growth. This collagen growth ultimately creates a gradual tightening, resulting in a natural lift.
