Question:

Is there any way to reverse skin damage from the sun? It is amazing what today’s technologies can do. Do.

Answer:

We can use topical products that can contain growth factors to create new collagen as a supplement to light based –in office-potent LED treatments to promote anti-aging of the skin. Fraxel, ProFractional and eMatrix laser treatments can reverse sun induced wrinkles. Q-switched lasers can remove brown sun spots (age spots). Finally PDT laser treatments can actually prevent some skin cancers from ever happening. Put all these treatments together and you can reverse over 10 years of sun-induced aging without surgery.

Question:

I’m a 38-year-old woman and I’ve recently been experiencing hair loss. Are there any types of medications that are effective in treating hair loss in women?

Answer:

This is a tough problem but it can be treated. Initially an analysis of you hair and blood should be undertaken to rule out medical causes of this. Once that is done we can slow down hair loss and bring some hair back with a combination of injections and low level light therapy known as LED treatments.
