Question: I’ve got a few brown spots that appeared on my face during my last pregnancy. Can these by improved with IPL or is there some other type of treatment that would be more effective? Answer: IPL treatments can elegantly improve brown sun-damaged or age spots. A series of treatments (3-5) may be required. A quicker approach, but one that dose create a 1 week scab, is treatment with one of our Q-switched ruby or Q-switched Nd;YAG lasers. Here only 1-2 treatments is required. This laser treatment is also generally less expensive.
