Question: I live near Hackensack and was wondering if you can explain the difference between Fraxel restore and fraxel repair. Is one best for wrinkles? Answer: Fraxel restore is helpful for mild sundamage, requires multiple treatments and is associated with minimal to no downtime. Fraxel repair is helpful for treatment of deeper wrinkles, requires fewer treatments but does require 3-5 days of downtime.

Question: I have used tanning salons for the last ten years. I am also a smoker. I bring these two facts up because I believe they are the reason that I look so much older than I am. I am interested in the strongest or deepest laser treatment that you provide. Does the Fraxel laser remove most facial wrinkles, including those around my lips? What about the deeper creases? Answer: The best fractional lasers for wrinkles around the lips include the Fraxel Re:Pair, Sciton ProFractional, Lumenis FX and Cutera Pearl Lasers systems.
