Question: Is it possible for a mole to regrow in the same area after being removed? Most dermatologists shave moles instead of totally excising the. Answer: Total excision guarantees that a mole will never come back, but can be associated with an unsightly scar. Most dermatologists will shave off the top of a mole instead of excising it. This leads to a smaller scar, but is associated with a risk of higher risk of recurrence.

Question: My rosacea seems to be worse when I drink alcohol. Does that mean I can't ever drink? I do enjoy a cocktail every now and then. Answer: Alcohol, like spicy foods and hot drinks, can cause vasodilation of facial blood vessels. Although alcohol consumption does not casue rosacea, the dilated flushed blood vessels of rosacea can be worsened after alcohol intake. An absolute prohibition is not required; moderation is advisable.
