Question:

Are chemical peels still used today? You don’t hear much about them anymore. What are they good for treating and are other things like injectables better?

Answer:

Our estheticians still due light fruity acid glycolic peels. These are quite helpful in cleaning out acne blackheads and whiteheads as well as freshening up sun damaged skin. However, the wrinkle removing aggressive deep chemical peels of the past have been replaced by safer, effective quality fractional laser technologies such as Fraxel, Pro-Fractional and eMatrix.
